The immediate outcome of our work is, of course, more
conducive learning |

environments. However there are many other less obvious
outcomes and a |
|
letter we have received from the head teacher at Jora
alludes to some of |
|
these, including: |
|
|
|
• significant reductions in the incidents
of damaged or lost books - |
|
due to improved storage in classrooms and
lockable desks for in upper |
|
primary classrooms; |
|
|
|
• improved parent participation in school
activities - due to increased |
|
pride in their school; |
|
|
|
• drastic reduction in cases of
absenteeism - due to pupils enjoying |
|
being in school |
