great deal of work by the team in America |

| our
Baltimore based sister organisation, Kids4Kenya, |
| has
finally been granted 501 c 3 status - the US
|
|
equivalent of registered status with the Charity
|
|
Commission in the UK. |
| |
| To
coincide with this development, the charity
hosted |
|
| on Friday
14th
its third annual spring fundraising party. |
| |
| The event,
attended by over 300 adults and children, raised $5,200
in |
| donations and from
the sale of Kenyan 'Tusker' beer and South African wine. |
| |
| Since 2008
Kids4Kenya has raised £15,000 towards our work in Kenya and |
| we hope
that with their newly acquired charitable status even
more can be |
| raised in
2011 and the years to come - particularly from US
registered |
|
foundations. |
| |
| If you
represent a US charitable foundation, or are a US based
individual, and |
|
would like to support our work then please contact
Kids4Kenya President, |
|
Peter Teuten, at
