The villages sit at the foot of the 1800m high Mt.
Kasigau, which gives the area |

its name, and is home mainly to the small Taita tribe.
The bulk of the local |
|
population are subsistence farmers, living of whatever
they can grow. |
|
|
|
We are aiming to bring the schools' infrastructure to
similarly high standards at |
|
similar rates of progress such that no school is at any
time considerably better |
|
than any of the other. |
