  • We are delighted to announce that one of the country's top young trumpeters, Matilda Lloyd, will be performing at our Christmas Carol Service this year. She recently performed with the BBC Concert Orchestra to celebrate BBC Radio 2’s 50th Anniversary. • This #WorldFoodDay we are celebrating serving the 1.5 millionth meal since we launched our school lunch programme in September 2013!! This programme helps to remove hunger as a barrier to education and to fuel minds and bodies for learning. As we currently serve more than 50,000 meals a month to more than 2,750 pupils across our partner schools and beyond we expect to reach the 2million milestone sometime in 2018. #endhunger #zerohunger #foodforall

  • Many Kenyan primary schools are understaffed - not because there are no trained teachers available but because the government does not employ them and post them where they are needed. We currently fund the salaries of 17 extra much-needed extra teachers across our seven partner schools, helping to keep class numbers low and ensure all teachers have a manageable workload. #worldteachersday #teachersofinstagram #teacher
  • Better than any present? We think so. Happy Birthday to our ambassador Suzanne Payne (aka @baskets4bread) from everyone at AP and all the staff and pupils at Kiteghe Primary School, for whom you have done so much. #happybirthday #itsyourbirthday 🎂🎉🎁🎼
