Our popular Prize Draws offer the opportunity to support the charity and the chance to win a hamper of luxury and homemade seasonal treats and goodies for you, your home and your garden.

In the past, draws have taken place around Christmas and Easter as well as a draw which took place in January 2023 to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of African Promise as a registered charity.

Christmas 2023 Prize Draw

Our second Christmas draw – in place of our cancelled Carol Service – raised more than £1,800 after costs from a total of 250 entries. The anonymous winner took away a hamper of festive and seasonal goodies worth more than £500!

Spring/Easter 2023 Prize Draw

A hamper full of luxury, artisan and homemade spring and Easter treats was up for grabs in this draw which raised £250 for the charity after costs on the back of 91 entries each costing £5.

15th Birthday Prize Draw

A special birthday Prize Draw to mark 15 years as a registered charity in January 2023 raised £700 after costs and saw the lucky winner get their hands on a hamper overflowing with Kenya themed crafts and goodies.

Spring/Easter 2022 Prize Draw

A bumper hamper worth more than £500 was up for grabs in our third Prize Draw. A total of 65 participants purchased 143 entries and, after costs, helped to raise more than £1,200 for the charity.

Spring/Easter 2021 Prize Draw

Our first Spring prize draw raised vital funds for the charity as the country emerged from a winter lockdown. The prize was a hamper full of seasonal and Easter treats, including a traditional simnel cake and Spring wreath, worth around £300.

Christmas 2020 Prize Draw

Our inaugural prize draw was held in place of our Covid-cancelled Carol Service. The prize was a hamper of luxury and homemade seasonal and festive food and drink, including an iced Christmas cake.
