  • Since 2008 we have installed more than 375,000 litres of rainwater storage capacity across our partner schools. 💧🚰
.
.
However, in an area of Kenya where water is a precious resource, every drop of rainwater is valuable and we would dearly love to be able to help our schools harvest more. .
.
This #WorldWaterDay please consider supporting our Water4All campaign (link in bio). Every £75 raised and donated provides an additional 1,000 litres of capacity. .

We're quite proud of what we've achieved at Ngambenyi Primary with the help of @hazelsfootprints and whilst we don't usually plaster our logo all over our partner schools, we've made an exception on this occasion!

There's still a bit of work to do building paved areas around the taps but it was most important to get the guttering installed and the tanks connected before the end of this month, which we have succeeded in doing.

Contractors employed by the local county government are on site near Ngambenyi today to clear an access road to the school (seen in the background).
.
.
Ngambenyi is our most isolated partner school and is some distance away from the 'main' road. This new road will ease access to the school and, we are told, also facilitate connection to the mains grid power supply.
