As we begin our second decade as a charity, the time feels right to extend our work into an eighth partner school. That school is Mkamenyi Primary.

Of all the schools we have worked with, Mkamenyi is arguably the one in most desperate need of our expertise and support, so it is perhaps fitting that we should begin our second decade with what will be our most ambitious project to date, and one which will once again set new standards.

Our extensive, two-year redevelopment of the school will transform it into an inspiring and well-equipped learning environment that will benefit thousands of children in the Mkamenyi community, now and for generations to come.

Find out how by watching our short appeal film, featuring the words of the school’s headteacher, and by exploring our other literature including our project booklet and artists impressions of the proposed new school.

Help transform the education of thousands of disadvantaged children

We have a wonderful opportunity to transform the education and lives of children in the Mkamenyi community, now and for generations to come. But we cannot do this alone and we need your support to make this ambitious project a reality.

We have already raised more than 50% of the funds we need for the project and work is underway on the first parts of the new school but we need your help to continue with the next phases of the project including further classrooms, a kitchen/dining hall, and new toilets.

Those based in the US or Europe can donate in $ or Euros to this project by credit/debit card or PayPal through our partners GlobalGiving.

Kenyan residents can donate to this project via MPesa to paybill 891300, account number GG39873.
