As we begin our second decade as a charity, the time feels right to extend our work into an eighth partner school. That school is Mkamenyi Primary.

Of all the schools we have worked with, Mkamenyi is arguably the one in most desperate need of our expertise and support, so it is perhaps fitting that we should begin our second decade with what will be our most ambitious project to date, and one which will once again set new standards.

The headteacher of Mkamenyi, Nicholus Mutui, has spoken to us in his own words about the desperate need for this project and the difference that it will make to the schools’ pupils, now and for generations to come. As a one-time headteacher of two of our existing partner schools, he knows better than most!

A new school for 500 disadvantaged children

Our extensive £250,000 redevelopment, which will commence in early 2019 and take at least two years, will transform the school into an inspiring and well-equipped learning environment that will benefit thousands of children in the Mkamenyi community, now and for generations to come.

But we can only do this with your help!
