Our festive fundraising will look a bit different in 2023 as sadly our Christmas Carol Service will not take place nor will we be participating in the BigGive Christmas Challenge.
Following disappointing attendances in the post-Covid years especially, without a main sponsor for this year and with family reasons also affecting the availability of Trustees we have decided to have a break from the Carols in 2023.
We know that for some this event is a fixture in the festive calendar so we are sorry for any disappointment arising from its absence this year but hopefully it will whet the appetite for 2024 and it can return with a full house again at St. Giles’s.
As it stands, there will also be no opportunity for donations to the charity to be doubled/matched during BigGive Christmas Challenge week as we missed the deadline for submission of applications and will therefore not be involved this year.
The festive season is a time of year when we know many of you look to give to charity and support causes close to your heart (including AP) so we hope to come back to you soon with details of alternative ways that you will be able to support us this Christmas, although it might just be another Prize Draw!
