Join the 2.6 Challenge to help Save the UK’s Charities

Today we are inviting you to join the 2.6 Challenge to help Save the UK’s Charities, including African Promise.

The challenge is a collaboration of the largest mass-participation event organisers in the UK and will launch on Sunday 26 April – what would have been the date of the postponed 40th edition of the London Marathon.

Members of the public are being encouraged to become ‘Home Heroes’ by setting themselves a challenge to complete at home centred around the number 2.6 or 26, and either donating to or fundraising for their chosen charity.

There are no rules – other than that Government guidelines on how to exercise safely during the lockdown must be adhered to – so the list of possibilities is endless: we’ll leave it to you to decide what activity suits your skills (or lack of!).

But, by way of an example, our Director will be aiming to complete 26 sets of 26 consecutive keepy-uppies with a golf club and ball and will donate 26p for each failed attempt!
